In the Posting form, you can set up a receipt ledger account for any combinations of items, items groups, all items and vendors, vendor groups, and all vendors. Microsoft Dynamics AX searches for the receipt account as follows:

• Each vendor - Each item.

• Groups of vendors - Groups of items.

• All vendors - All items.

• Each item - Each vendor.

• Groups of items - Groups of vendors.

• All items - All vendors.

If you select Vendor, Microsoft Dynamics AX starts to search from each vendor. If you select , the application starts to search from each item.
