Navigating the form

The following links and tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Tab	Description
Overview tab	View the depreciation book journal names and Journal number.
General tab	View and change specific information for the active depreciation book journal. You can set the posting rules.
Blocking	View the private journal information.
History	View the journal history, including the Original journal number.

Button	Description
Lines	Opens the Journal lineform.
Validate	Completes the journal transaction validation process.
Post	Click Postto post the transaction. Click Post and transferto post the transaction and transfer any lines with errors to a new journal.

Field	Description
Name	The journal name for the journal transaction.
Journal number	The journal number of the transaction.
Description	The description of the journal.
Posted	This displays whether the journal transaction has been posted or not.
In use	If the check box is selected, the journal is being used.
Delete lines after posting	Select this check box to have journal lines deleted after posting is completed.
Lines limit	Determines the number of lines to be posted in the journal. Any lines over the limit are posted to additional journals.
