You can specify a different ledger account for opening transactions of balance accounts.

  1. Click General ledger> Common Forms> Chart of Account Detailsto open the Chart of accountsform.

  2. Select the account that you want to set up for opening the transaction.

  3. Click the Generaltab.

  4. In the Opening accountfield, select the ledger account for opening transactions.

  5. Press CTRL+S or close the form.
