Use this form to create query functions for electronic reporting. You can use the functions to set up and calculate fixed requisite values based on the data from the database.

Set up transaction types for filtering.

Operations/Tax

Set up accounting types for the transactions to be reported.

Dimension

Enter information to filter transactions by financial dimensions.

Open the Query function setupform to create and edit functional queries.

Enter an identification code for the query function.

Name

Enter a text description for the query function.

Line type

Select the default data source from the following options:

  • Transactions

  • Budget

  • Register

  • Constant

  • Function query

  • Contractor

  • Fixed requisite

Query type

Select the query type from the following options:

  • Simple

  • Function

  • VAT Declaration second section

Note Note

You cannot modify the query type after you save it.


Factor

Enter the value that is used to divide the report data.

Fractional part

Enter the number of decimal places to be used.

Currency

Select the currency for the report from the following options:

  • Base currency– The report uses the company's default currency.

  • Secondary currency– The report uses the company's secondary currency.

Period

Select the default date interval.

Budget model

Select the default budget model for the report.

Note Note

This field is activated when you select Budgetin the Line typefield.


Transaction usage

Select the transactions for the report from the following options:

  • All– View all transactions.

  • Only reversing entry– View only reversed transactions.

  • Without reversing entry– Hide reversed transactions.

Transaction type

Select the required transaction type.

Note Note

The transaction type determines which module's transactions are reported.


Posting layer

Select the accounting type for the transactions from the following options:

  • Current

  • Operations

  • Tax

  • Operations minus tax

  • Only operations

  • Only tax

  • Operations plus tax

  • Total

  • Dual warehouse

Dimension

Select a dimension type from the following options:

  • Department

  • Cost center

  • Purpose

From

Select the starting code for the dimension range.

To

Select the ending code for the dimension range.
