Reports are generated on the basis of a base date. Depending on the period set up for a report, it may be necessary to enter a first, last, or arbitrary date for the reporting period. A date interval is selected for the reporting period. When generating a report, the start and end dates for the reporting period are calculated for a selected date interval. The origin date used is the base date on which the report was generated. The cell values of the report are calculated for the selected period, and the report is generated in Microsoft Office Word or Microsoft Office Excel format, depending on which template was set up.
