Click General ledger> Journals> Fixed asset.

Create a new journal line, and then click Linesto open the Journal voucherform.

Click Proposals> Pre-acquisition proposalto acquire an asset.

Click Selectto select the criteria for the pre-acquisition proposal.

Select the criteria in the Asset Proposalform, and then click OK.

Post the journal.

Note
The status of the fixed asset is changed to Acquiredin the Statusfield in the Value modelsform. The pre-acquisition of a fixed asset does not affect the acquisition costs and the net book value of the fixed asset.
