The Goods cost calculationregister is used to calculate the cost of goods, and is subsequently used to create additional registers in accordance with chapter 25 of RF tax law.

Records are produced in the register for each occurrence of an account object, such as a purchase, and other receipts (receipt from production) of goods, services, raw materials, or acquisition of fixed assets (FAs) and intangible assets (IAs). Therefore, the register for the reporting period should include records of all materials, goods, raw materials, FAs, and IAs that are accepted for accounting during the specified accounting period.

Miscellaneous charges for purchases that are distributed by item are specified in separate lines in the register, and are accounted in the register in the invoice total line. They comprise the accounting object cost. If the FA/IA acquisition cost differs from the value paid for it, a corrective line is created in the register to identify the price difference.

  1. Click General ledger> Setup> Profit tax> Registers.

  2. Press CTRL+N to create a new line.

  3. In the Register typefield, select Goods cost calculation.

  4. In the Register codefield, enter an identification code for the register.

  5. In the Register namefield, modify the name of the register, if necessary.

  6. In the Period typefield, select the type of time period for which the register is created.

  7. Click the Hidetab, and move any fields that you want to hide in the register from Available fieldsto Selected fields.

  8. In Selected fields, select the check box for the register fields to be hidden.

  9. Press CTRL+S or close the form.

  10. Click General ledger> Setup> Profit tax> Register parametersto set up additional parameters for the register.

  11. In the Register namefield, select Goods cost calculation.

  12. In the Parameter name, specify the parameter.

  13. In the Valuefield, select the fixed asset or intangible asset group by the tax account type and asset type that are to be used for register creation. If you specify more than one value, separate the values with commas.

    Note Note

    If you do not specify parameter values, the register will be created using all fixed assets and intangible assets.

  14. Press CTRL+S or close the form.
