1. Click Inventory management> Setup> Dimensions> Dimension groupsto open the Inventory dimensionsform.

  2. Press CTRL+N in the upper pane to create a new line.

  3. In the Dimension groupfield, enter the name of the inventory dimension group.

  4. In the Namefield, enter the description of the inventory dimension group.

  5. In the middle pane, select the Activecheck box for the Configurationfield.

  6. In the lower pane, select the Activecheck box for the Warehousefield.

  7. Press CTRL+S or close the form.

  8. Click Inventory management> Common Forms> Item detailsto open the Itemform.

  9. On the Overviewtab, select an item.

  10. On the Generaltab, in the Dimension groupfield, select the inventory dimension group.

  11. Press CTRL+S or close the form.

  12. Click Inventory management> Setup> Dimensions> Item dimensions> Configurationsto open the Configurationform.

  13. Press CTRL+N to create a new line.

  14. In the Item numberfield, select the item number.

  15. In the Configurationfield, enter the identification of the item configuration.

  16. In the Namefield, enter a name to describe the configuration.

  17. Press CTRL+S or close the form.
