Use this form to calculate the vacation payment for an employee.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Overview

Create or modify the vacation registration details for calculating the vacation payment for an employee.

General

Set up the average-earned calculation parameters for a vacation selected on the Overviewtab.

Enter or view the salary report that includes the average-earned calculation record and the benefit due that contains the vacation payment amount for the specified employee.

Payroll lines

Open the Vacationsform to view the amount of vacation accruals for the employee.

Calendar

Open the Calendars setupform, and create or view a list of the calendars and schedule for the current line.

Enter from order

Open the Creating vacation lines on the basis of vacation ordersform to create vacation lines using staff vacation resolutions.

Functions

Open a menu with the following items:

  • Recalculation– Recalculate the average earnings of an employee. If the lines or values of the Hours, Days, or Amountfields were added to or deleted from the average-earned calculation log, these changes are not saved when recalculating.

  • Hours worked accounting– Open the Resulting information about employee worked hoursform to view details on the hours worked over a set calculation period.

  • Payroll lines– Open the Pay type transaction listform to view the employee's accruals over a set calculation period.

  • Bonus– Open the Bonusform to view the bonuses included when calculating the average earnings of an employee.

    This button is available in the Calculationtab.


Fields

Field

Description

Calculation method code

Select the average-earned calculation method code.

Type

Select the vacation line type from the following options:

  • Vacation– A line for the vacation payment amount calculation for the granted vacation.

  • Vacation breaking– A previously granted vacation is interrupted.

  • Compensation– A compensation amount is calculated for an unused vacation.

Employee

Select the employee for whom the vacation payment is calculated.

Employee name

The name of the employee.

Associated vacation

View or modify the start date of interrupted vacation from the list.

Note Note

The start date of this vacation is automatically set in this field. Average earned is calculated from the date specified in this field.


Start date

Select the start date of the vacation.

Quantity of days

Enter or view the number of vacation days granted.

Note Note

If the Start dateand Finish dateare specified, the number of days is automatically calculated and displayed, based on number of work or calendar days between the specified start and end dates.


Finish date

Select or view the end date of the vacation.

Note Note

If the Start dateand Quantity of daysare specified, the end date is automatically calculated and displayed, based on the specified number of work or calendar days from the specified start date.


Type of vacation

Select the type of vacation granted.

Add to salary

Select this check box if the vacation payment amount for the vacation entered is to be updated in the employee's payments and deductions, during the vacation payment calculation procedure.

Calculation period

The month and year of the current calculation period.

Note Note

If the Add to salarycheck box is selected, the Calculation periodfield is automatically filled in with the month and year of the current calculation period.


Amount to be paid

Enter the vacation payment amount for the employee.

Note Note

This field can be updated even after completion of the vacation calculation.


Number of month

Select the rates for the number of months of the calculation period for calculating the average salary.

Duration

Select the basis for calculating the vacation length as Work–daysor calendar days.

Calculation method of short month

Select the calculation method for hours worked from the following options if the calculation period is not fully worked by the employee:

  • Summary– Calculated based on the total information about the employee's hours worked per month.

  • Calendar– Calculated based on the details of the daily time sheet table and calendar days.

  • By coefficient– Calculated using the resulting information about the employee's worked hours for the month, taking into account the conversion factor set for the employee's calendar and the working week duration.

Calculation method of full month

Select the average-earned calculation method from the following options if the calculation period is fully worked by the employee:

  • According to calendar– Number of calendar days in the calculation period.

  • Average value– Average number of days per month.

Calculation type

Select the calculation type from the following options to specify whether average hourly earnings or average daily earnings are calculated:

  • by days

  • by hours

Note Note

When using the short month calendar calculation method, the calculation type can only be by days.


Base of calculation

Select the basis for average earned calculation.

Note Note

The calculation base includes pay types that are used to calculate the average earned amount.


Average earned base

Select the basis for calculation of the vacation payment based on the average-earned calculation base.

Note Note

If there were no accruals in the previous calculation periods for the selected average-earned calculation base in the Base of calculationfield, the calculation of the average salary is based on the accruals calculated for the average salary.


Step-up ratio

Select the rate that contains the ratio for indexing the average earned during calculation.

According to schedule

Select the time group defining the scheduled work time to be considered for the average-earned calculation.

Actually worked

Select the time group defining the actual work time to be used for the average-earned calculation.

Note Note

This field is active only if Calculation method of short monthfield is set as By coefficient.


Absences from work

Select the time group defining the hours that the employee is absent from work.

On average

Select the time group for the time for which accruals was carried out for the average-earned calculation.

Bonus base

Select the basis of calculating the bonus for the employee from the material incentives fund.

Criteria of bonus accounting

Select the criteria to account for the bonus in the calculation of the average salary from the following options:

  • Maximal

  • Minimal

  • First

  • Last

Note Note

If the quantity of bonuses exceeds the amount permitted for the average-earned calculation, the bonus is calculated depending on the selected option.

One-twelfth of the bonus for the year preceding the event is included in every month, entered in the average-earned calculation.


Proportional calculation

Select this check box to include bonuses in the average-earned calculation in proportion to the hours worked.

Payroll number

The payroll number for which the calculated vacation payment amount was paid out.

Payment source

The payment source of the accrual amounts when calculating the average salary. The payment sources are Wage fundand Health fund.

Days

The number of working days included in the average-earned calculation.

Note Note

This field is available only when the Calculation typeis selected as by dayson the Generaltab.


Amount

The amount of accruals included in the average-earned calculation basis.

Average per day

The average daily earnings calculated for the employee.

Note Note

This field is available only when the Calculation typeis selected as by dayson the Generaltab.


Hours

The number of working hours included in the average-earned calculation.

Note Note

This field is available only when the Calculation typeis selected as by hourson the Generaltab.


Average per hour

The calculated average hourly earnings.

Note Note

This field is available only when the Calculation typeis selected as by hourson the Generaltab.


Average daily payment from Wage Fund

The average daily payment calculated from the wage fund.

Average daily payment from Health Fund

The average daily payment calculated from the health fund.

Welfare Fund amount

The total vacation payment amount from the welfare fund.

Wage Fund amount

The total vacation payment amount from the wage fund.

Total for vacation

The total vacation payment amount.
