The following items have been added or changed
for this release of Dexterity:
Report Writer output enhancements. The
HTML output from the Report Writer has been significantly improved
to better match the report layout. The Report Writer can now
produce an XML output file that contains a representation of the
report layout and all of the report data.
For Microsoft Dynamics GP and products
that integrate with it, the Report Writer can now use Microsoft
Word as the layout engine for specific reports. To use Microsoft
Word and the layout engine for a report, you must create a
Microsoft Word template for the report.
Context menus. Dexterity now supports
context menus for windows, window fields, scrolling window lines
and scrolling window fields. Refer to Context Menus for more
information.
Watch window. Dexterity has a new Watch
window that can be used when debugging applications. Refer to
Watch window for
details.
The Script Debugger has a context menu in
test mode. Refer to The Script Debugger window
for more information.
Multiple source files can be imported into
a dictionary in a single operation. Refer to the Import From Text File
window and to Importing for a detailed
procedure.
MAPI support has been enhanced to support
features like HTML or RTF body text, multiple attachments, reply-to
addresses, and setting additional properties for messages. Refer to
MAPI function Library for details. Also refer to
the MailEmptyBodyMessage for
details about setting the default text for MAPI messages.
Dexterity-based applications can now
directly access the Windows registry. Refer to Registry function library for details.
