Using the Script Editor

The Script Editor operates like any basic text editor, allowing you to enter and edit scripts up to 24,000 characters long, including spaces and comments. It opens automatically when you attach a script.

Edit text in the Script Editor the same way you would with any other editor. You can cut, copy and paste text by choosing the corresponding commands from the Edit menu. You can also indent a block of text by selecting the text and pressing the TAB key. To remove an indent from a block of text, select the text and press SHIFT-TAB.
