Typically, you will want the images used in a tree view field to blend with the background color of the field. The color of the image’s first pixel (upper left corner) specifies which color will be considered transparent, allowing the field’s background color to show through any pixel of that color.

When you create the images for the list view, you may want to use a unique color for the image background. That way, the list view background color will not interfere with the other colors in the image. |
