Callbacks and Events

You can create callback objects in your Dexterity-based application. Like any other COM objects, callback objects have properties and methods that you define. Other applications use COM to access the properties and methods in the callback object. Callback objects are used for the following:

• They allow other applications to access functionality in your application through COM.
• They allow you to create event handlers so your application can be notified of events that occur in other applications.
