Only new records can be created by the integration. Existing records cannot be updated.

Update Only

Only existing records can be updated by the integration. New records cannot be created.

Insert and Update

New records can be created and existing records can be updated by the integration.

You can’t specify the destination edit mode until after you add a destination to the integration. The default mode is Insert Only.

Integration Description (General tab)

Enter a description that helps you identify the integration. The description should provide information about the integration, such as where the data for the integration comes from. A description might include the name of the source and the destination, as well as a date or a time interval such as daily or monthly.

Integration Name (General tab)

Enter a name that helps you easily identify the integration.

File Directory (Logs tab)

If the log is saved to a text file, specify the directory in which it will be placed.

Level

Description

Summary

Basic information about the integration will be logged, including starting and ending times, completion status, and record counts. Information about individual records will be logged if a warning or error is encountered.

Document

In addition to summary information, information about each integrated record will be logged.

Trace

Detailed information will be logged for all aspects of the integration. This is intended primarily as a debugging tool. Because of the large quantity of information logged, it is best to store this type of log in a text file.

None

No information will be logged for the integration.

Maximum Number of Errors (General tab)

Enter the maximum number of errors that can occur before the integration automatically stops.

When an error occurs, the document fails to integrate. When the integration reaches the maximum number of errors, the entire integration fails.

You can’t specify this value until after you add a destination to the integration.

Maximum Number of Warnings (General tab)

When you run an integration, this value indicates the number of warnings that can occur before the integration automatically stops.

When a warning occurs, the document still is integrated, and Integration Manager provides information about the problem. When the integration reaches the maximum number of warnings, the entire integration fails.

You can’t specify this value until after you add a destination to the integration.

Run Status (Logs tab)

Displays whether the process of running the integration was successfully completed.

Scripts tab

Specify which scripts to attach to an integration. You can attach the following scripts.
