The function of this button depends on the selection in the Static Type field:
Text: Opens the Static Text Values window or the Button Items window, allowing you to create and modify static text values.
Picture: Opens the Static Picture Values window, allowing you to create and modify picture values.
Native Picture: For check boxes, opens the Button Values window. For visual switches, opens the Static Picture Values window.
Text - Picture: For push buttons and button drop lists, opens the Button Items window.
Text - Native Picture: For push buttons and button drop lists, opens the Button Items window.
This field is unavailable if the data type is global, since globally-defined data types typically already have static values.
Opens the Resource Lookup window, allowing you to choose the format that will be applied to the field contents. This field is unavailable when the data type is Global, since the global data type definition already includes format information.
This field is available only when the data type is Global. Clicking this button opens the Data Type Definition window, allowing you to view the characteristics of the data type.
Saves the local field and closes the window.
Saves the local field, but doesn’t close the window.
Closes the window without saving changes.
