Once you have made modifications to a report, you will want to print the report to verify its appearance. How the data for the report is generated determines how you can display the report. Most reports read data directly from tables in the database for the accounting system. However, some reports retrieve their data from special “temporary” tables that are created by the accounting system. Reports that read data directly from tables in the database can be viewed and printed from within the Report Writer. Reports that use temporary tables cannot, because the Report Writer has no way to add data to temporary tables.
