The keyable length is the number of characters that can be displayed in a field that uses this data type. Control types such as currency, integer, and string have a keyable length. You can use the Report Writer to change the keyable length. For example, you may want to increase the keyable length for the STR10_Phone data type to allow the user to enter more digits.
