You can initiate an instant message exchange with a co-worker while you view a report in Report Viewer. To use this feature, you must be using Microsoft Lync 2010.

Send an instant message

  1. Open a report in Report Viewer.

  2. Right-click in a cell in the report, and select Send an Instant Messageto open the Lync instant message dialogue box.
