By creating queries through the management statistics section in CRM, you can view on a plotted graph both the fields and methods of many tables in Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Before you can start, your administrator must enter into the form the tables that you want to include in the management statistics queries. After this configuration has been done, and if you have the appropriate permissions, you can start to create queries.

When you create a query through the management statistics function, select the appropriate field or method and the return value.

You can enter the fields that your administrator has enabled on either the X- or Y-axis fields in the form. However, the Y-axis can only contain fields that contain real numbers, whereas the X-axis can contain any field that you select. By default, the field name is the AOT name, but you can change this name at any time.

The enabled methods are similar to the enabled fields, except that the enabled methods are locked to only appear on the Y-axis.

You can set the return value of the query to display the value in different units of measurement, such as total, average, or count.
