Conditional questions let you create a question hierarchy in a questionnaire by making the sequence in which questions are presented dependent on which answer was chosen on the previous question. By basing the question sequence on the respondents answer selection you can tailor the questionnaire to the respondent.

Example

When a company offers customers both products as well as product services, typically some customers purchase either products or services only, and some purchase both. When the company wants to distribute a satisfaction survey, it can apply a conditional structure to the questionnaire to prevent customers who only purchase services from having to answer questions about products.
