You can manage employee affiliations from the , , and , and forms.

You can affiliate employees with the following organizations:

  • organization – To define their primary employment relation. You can hire employees in active organization units. You can only affiliate employees with the line organization. You can change an employee's affiliation with the organization by hiring, rehiring, moving from one unit to another, or terminating them.

  • or organization – To define responsibilities beyond their primary employment relation, for example, those of a Team leader. You can manually affiliate employees with matrix and project units.

Terminate employment

When you terminate an employee, all information related to the employee, such as responsibilities toward recruitment projects or outstanding loan items, must be handled separately. Before terminating an employee, it is a good idea to run the report for a list of all areas or items that the employee is responsible for.
