Create an Import File Format Definition.

1. Click CRM> Setup> Contact management> Import> File format definition

2. In the File format definitionform, click the Table mappingtab.

3. Manually map the import file fields to their relevant tables by using the arrow buttons.

   This way the import file fields are associated with the relevant table: Business relations, Contactor Business sectors.

4. In the Field namefield, map the import file field in each table to their counterpart fields in the relevant table ( Relation, Business sectorsor Contacts) by selecting the relevant tables field name from the drop-down list.

5. If necessary, in the Group ID, group the import file fields by table record for each import file field by selecting the import record group in the drop-down list.

   The values in the Record grouptable are set up in the Record groupform.

Tip
The default table for import is the Business relationstable, where all the import file fields are initially placed.
