To change the price of an existing subscription fee, you need to create a new transaction that either adds to or withdraws from the original transaction.

Example

To reduce the price to 80% of the original price, you create a transaction with a -20% price change; to change the price to 120% of the original price, you create a transaction with a 20 % price change.

Change the price of a subscription fee

  1. Click > .

  2. Select the subscription where you want to change the price, and click > .

  3. In the list, select .

  4. In the and fields, enter the date interval of the subscription fee that needs a price change.

  5. In the field, enter the percentage by which you want to change the price.

  6. Click OK.

  7. To view the created transaction, in the form, click > .

You create the following subscription transaction for a customer's maintenance subscription:

Two days after you create the transaction, you realize that the sales price for the subscription transaction is 100.00, not 200.00. To correct this error, you create a new subscription fee with the field set to , and in the dialog box you enter the following:
