Create a new project stage

Click Project> Setup> Parameters .
Select one of the stages under the Project stagetab and then click Rename.
Select the language you want to use in naming the new project stage.
Enter the new project stage name in the Textfield.
Click Project stage rulesto add or remove rules from a project type by selecting or clearing the check boxes.

Modify or rename a project stage

Click Project> Setup> Parameters .
On the Project stagetab, select the stage you want to modify.
Select or clear the project stage check boxes to make your changes to the project types.

This will update all projects of the type you are making the changes to.
Click Project stage rulesto change the selected project type's rules.
Select or clear the check boxes to change the rules of the project.

Note
You can change the stages of a parent project in the Project Details , Project Contract Details , or Estimate Project Details . When you make changes, you can indicate whether the changes will affect only the parent project, all subprojects with the same project type as the parent project, or all subprojects of the parent project.
