To generate pay for employees, you must create pay types. The different pay types are connected to one or more pay agreements.

Rates for pay types are set up for specific time intervals and can be specified for individual employees.

Note Note

It is not always necessary connect rates to your pay types in shop floor control. This information may exist in the payroll system that is used to generate employee wages.


New pay type

  1. Click > > > .

  2. Press CTRL+N, or click Newto create a new line.

  3. Complete the and text boxes.

  4. If the pay type rate is calculated on the basis of another pay type, enter the pay type.

  5. Click .

  6. Press CTRL+N, or click Newto create a new line.

  7. Enter the date interval and a rate or if a reference pay type is applied, a percentage.

Pay type for a specific employee

  1. Click > > > .

  2. In the list, click your selection.

  3. Click .

  4. Select the date interval for which you want to create the specific rate.

  5. Click .

  6. Press CTRL+N, or click Newto create a new line.

  7. In the list, click your selection.

  8. In the box, enter a value or if a reference pay type is applied a percentage in the box.

Note Note

A pay type for a specific employee can only have a percentage factor if the general pay type has a pay type.


New rate period for an existing pay type

  1. Click > > > .

  2. In the list, click your selection.

  3. Click and then click .

  4. Select date interval for the new pay type rate.

  5. In the list, click your selection and enter a .

  6. Click .

Note Note

To create a new time interval and enter the new rate manually, you can simply press CTRL+N. However, using this method will not create employee-specific rates for the new period.


Pay raise methods

The following pay raise methods are available.

  • - Raise the pay rate or percentage with the number entered in the box.

  • - Raise the pay rate with the percentage entered in the box.

  • - The rate or percentage for the new period is the number entered in the box.
