Click Master planning> Setup> Parameters. Because sales explosions are carried out in the Current dynamic master plan, make sure that a different master plan is specified in the Current static master planand the Current dynamic master planfields.

Click Accounts receivable> Sales order, and then select the sales order line that you want to explode.

In the lower pane, click Inquiries> Explosionto open the Explosion form.

Click Updateto explode the sales order line. In the updated Explosionform, you can view order fulfillment information, including the possible delivery date.

You can perform various functions from the Explosionform:

• View and firm the planned orders that are generated by the explosion.

• Transfer the futures date that is generated by the explosion to the sales order line by clicking Transfer futures date.

• In the Ganttchart you can see a graphical representation of how the order line will be fulfilled.

• View any action messages for suggestions about adjusting the current supply plan to fulfill the sales order.
