1. Click > > > .

  2. In the form, select an existing journal or create a new journal. If you are entering hours on an existing journal, go to step 4; otherwise, proceed with creating a new journal.

  3. To create a new journal, click to create a new journal and automatically open the form, or press CTRL+N to create a new journal and click the button.

    Note Note

    Most of the information for the journal is inherited from the journal name; however, you can enter other settings for journal description, voucher and posting settings, and blocking.


  4. In the journal form, fill in the relevant fields.

  5. Before posting the journal, click to check whether the journal is ready for posting.

  6. Post the journal by clicking in either the or the form. The journal will be posted whether you choose to post from the form or the form.

Tip Tip

On the tab, the project date, employee number, a project, category, line property, or a transaction text can be entered. These default values are automatically entered on all the journal lines that are created in the journal.

Optionally, predefined can be entered on a journal line using a shortcut key. Transaction texts are defined in the window.
