Before an employee can be selected as the preferred technician for a service agreement or service order, you must add the employee to the appropriate dispatch team.

Assign employee to a dispatch team

  1. Click > > to open the form.

  2. On the tab, use the list to assign the employee to an existing dispatch team.

Assign a preferred technician to a service agreement

  1. Click > Common Forms> to open the form.

  2. Select a service agreement on the tab.

  3. On the tab, use the list to assign a member of the appropriate dispatch team as the preferred technician for the service agreement.

Assign a preferred technician to a service order

  1. Click > > to open the form.

    Note Note

    In the preliminary form, specify a date range for dispatch activities that you want to view. Also, specify whether to display closed activities and whether to limit the dispatch activity list to teams that you belong to or are authorized to monitor.


  2. Select the line of the service activity you want to modify.

  3. On the tab, use the list to assign a member of the appropriate dispatch team as the preferred technician for the service call.
