Use this procedure to view projected inventory transactions that have their origin in a forecast. Being able to view these transactions is especially useful when a forecast line specifies a total transaction amount rather than an item quantity, for example. In this situation, one forecast line could result in several inventory forecast lines.

1. Click Inventory management> Inquiries> Forecast, and then click Purchase forecastor Sales forecastto open an existing forecast.

2. Click Inventory forecastto open the Inventory forecast form.

3. Each inventory forecast line shows the effect that the transaction has on inventory quantity. The program uses inventory forecast lines to calculate gross requirements during forecast scheduling.
