Depending on your company's configuration of this program, you may need to qualify a lead record in order to advance it to the next step in your business process. If you have found that a lead is no longer a potential sale, you can disqualify that lead to avoid spending more time with it.

Qualify a lead record

  1. Click > and select the lead record that you want to qualify.

  2. Click > .

  3. Select a reason why the lead record is qualified and click OK.

When setting up Lead management, you can choose to automatically create an Opportunity or Customer record when a lead has been qualified. If your company has selected this option, the forms will automatically open after you have qualified a lead record.

Disqualify a lead record

  1. Click > and select the lead record that you want to disqualify.

  2. Click > .

  3. Select a reason for why the lead record is disqualified and click OK.
