Use this procedure to start production of the items in the selected production order.

1. Click Production> Periodic> Update> Start.

2. Select the production order on which you want to start production.

3. On the Overviewtab, in the Start quantityfield, enter the quantity of the production order that you want to start to produce.

4. In the Datefield, enter the date that the production order will start.

5. In the fields From Oper. No.and To Oper. No., select the operation numbers with which you want the production to start and end.

6. Select or clear the Start productioncheck box.

7. On the Generaltab, some of the fields are already filled based on the information that you entered in the Overviewtab. However, you can select or clear fields depending on your desired setup.

8. Click OK.

To cancel a production order after it is started, click Production> Periodic> Update> Reset status.
