Refer to the following in situations that you might encounter when you use electronic signature.

I am not allowed to sign a process

If you are not allowed to sign a process that you expected to sign electronically, your user ID might not be included in the list of approvers, you must verify that your user ID is set up as an approver.

  • Click > > to open the form and verify that the group you are a member of is listed on the tab.

I am not requested to sign a process

If you are not requested to sign a process that you expected to sign electronically, the electronic signature process has not been properly set up. For more information, see Set up electronic signature.

An error message is displayed when I try to sign a process

Verify that user relations have be defined

If the error message indicates that you are not listed as an employee, verify that user relations have been appropriately defined:

  1. Click > to open the form.

  2. Be sure that you are listed with = , and that your employee ID is attached.

If the error message relates to a password or user name, the password could be wrong or you have not been given permissions to sign electronically.

Verify that you have permission to sign

  1. Try typing your password again, and if the password-related message appears, verify that you have been granted permissions to sign.

  2. Click > > .

  3. On the tab, verify that your user ID is a member of a user group listed.
