Expense management categories can now be integrated with the expense categories in Project accounting. When you create expense categories in Expense management, you can mark them as categories that can be used to track expenses in the Project module. Once you have selected this option, the category will become available in the list of Project categories. When listing the expense categories within a project, you will be able select a category that was originally created in Expense management.
You can also create a category in the Project module and select to include it in the Expense management categories, or the Production categories. When you create expense categories in the Project module, you can mark them as categories that can also be used in Expense management. However, this can only be applied if the transaction is an expense transaction.
