Use this form to define bonus depreciation information. The information that you enter is displayed in the form when an asset in the specified fixed asset group is associated with the specific depreciation book.

Bonus depreciation allows you to take extra–or bonus–depreciation amounts during the first year that the asset is placed in service and depreciated. A bonus depreciation record can be deleted from the Fixed asset group bonus depreciation form at any time, and only new assets that are added to the specific depreciation book will be affected.
