Use this form to filter and sort records. The section displays the table used in the query.

Select the table to use in the query.

Select the field from the selected table to use in the query.

Type the conditions that the field must match. You can use wildcards, such as asterisks (*).

Select the sorting order for the records: or .

Print a subheading when the value in the sort field changes.

Print a group total when the value in the sort field changes.

Select the number of parts of the selected sort field to include when you group and print subheadings.

Example

Your order numbers are entered manually using the following format: YYYY-MM-DD-##### where # is a running order number.

YYYY (the four-digit year) is the first part of the order number, MM (2-digit abbreviation for the month) is the second part, and so on.

You can now sort your report according to order numbers and print a subheading each time the first part (YYYY) of the order number changes, so that you print all orders grouped by year.

You can also print a subheading each time the first two parts (YYYY-MM) of the order number change, so that you print all orders grouped by year and month.

Select the number of parts of the selected sort field to include when you group and print group totals.

Include the range of the query at the top of each page of the report.

Print only the totals and not the individual records.

Print a grand total for the query result (the sum of all totals).

Exclude table records with repeating subheadings.

Exclude table records with repeating group totals.
