Use this form to set up default accounts for vendors for fast and efficient entry of vendor transactions. The setup in provides the basis for the individual setup in on the button.

The default setup from either or is available in journals in the field, if a vendor account has been selected as primary account, or in the field, if a vendor account has been selected as offset account.

It is also available on purchase order lines in the field on the tab.

The default setup can always be overruled by selecting any other account.

The pane is initially empty. According to the selection in the field, move accounts from the pane into the pane to define the setup for the current or . Ledger accounts with or selected are not visible in the pane.

To add or remove accounts in the and panes, first select the appropriate account, then use the arrow buttons, drag-and-drop, or double-click. You can also select multiple accounts, but double-clicking only works for one account.

Use the and buttons to arrange the order of the selected accounts.

Use and to set or clear default respectively.

Note Note

You can select only one default account among all the defined account types. This account is displayed in and is automatically inserted for the vendor that is selected on a journal line.
