Navigating the form

General tab

Enter information about the bill of exchange number method, bill of exchange format, and test printout format.

Setup tab

Select the bank and company information to appear on the bill of exchange.

Signature

Enter information about the printing of signatures and any amount limits for signatures.

Company logo

Add, change, or remove the image file that is printed on the bill of exchange as the company logo.

Signature

Add, change, or remove the image files that are printed on the bill of exchange as signatures.

Bill of exchange number method

Select the method you want to use for generating bill of exchange numbers. Choose one of the following:

• Fixed- use this method when you have preprinted bills of exchange. Before you can use bills of exchange for payment, it is necessary to create them by clicking Functions, then Create bill of exchangein Bank accounts .

• Free- use this method when you do not have preprinted bills of exchange. Microsoft Dynamicsautomatically proposes bill of exchange numbers when you use bills of exchange for payment.

Bill of exchange form

Select the bill of exchange form type to be printed.

Paper length

Length of bill of exchange, including slip.

Paper length unit

Select the unit for specifying size/position.

Bill of exchange start position

Position at which the bill of exchange is printed. The position is calculated from the top of the form to the position where the note starts.

Unit for the start position of the bill of exchange

Select the unit for specifying the size/position.

Number of slip copies

Number of slip copies, printed on the same form.

Prefix

Specify the text to appear before the sum on the printout of the bill of exchange.

Ruler

Select the ruler unit of the report:

• None- if you do not want a ruler shown on test prints.

• cm- if you want the ruler shown in centimeters.

• Inches- if you want the ruler shown in inches.

Bank account

Indicate whether the bank account number should be printed on the bill of exchange. Define the bank account number in Bank account number.

Bank name

Indicate whether the bank's name should be printed on the bill of exchange. Define the bank's name in Name.

Bank city

Select check box to print the bank city.

Bank number

Indicate whether the bank's registration number should be printed on the bill of exchange. Define the bank's registration number in Routing number.

Company name

Indicate whether the name of the company accounts should be printed on the bill of exchange. Define the name of the company accounts in Company name.

Company logo

Indicate whether the company logo should be printed on the bill of exchange. The company logo is retrieved from the bitmap file specified in Company logo.

Transaction date

Select check box to print transaction date.

Due date

Select check box to print due date.

Print first signature

Indicate whether a signature should be printed on the bill of exchange. The signature is retrieved from the bitmap file specified in File name, when clicking Signaturebutton.

First amount limit

Enter the highest amount that the signature can be stamped for.

Print second signature

Indicate whether a signature should be printed on the bill of exchange. The signature is retrieved from the bitmap file specified in File name, when clicking Signaturebutton.

Second amount limit

Enter the highest amount that the signature can be stamped for.
