According to Polish law, all companies that conduct business activities must generate and submit financial statements. A financial statement depicts a company's financial condition at the end of a defined financial reporting period. The financial statements incorporate row definitions to present the data for each ledger account and dimension value. You can use the Row definitionform to create and manage row definitions for financial statements.

  1. Click General ledger> Setup> Financial statement> Row definitionto open the Row definitionform.

  2. Press CTRL+N to create a new line, and enter the required information.

  3. Click Structure designerto open the Structure designerform.

  4. Click Createto create a new line.

  5. On the Generaltab, in the Row namefield, enter the name of the element for the selected row definition.

  6. In the Row descriptionfield, enter the description of the element for the selected row definition.

  7. In the Typefield, select the line type as Calculation.

  8. On the Setuptab (right pane), you can define the calculation expression using the drag-and-drop method, by moving arguments from the left pane to the right pane.

    Note Note

    You can also define the calculation expression manually by using the # sign, line number, and +,-,*,/ signs.


  9. Click Sum upto summarize all the arguments.

  10. On the Setuptab (left pane), select the display options to be included in the report.

  11. On the Designertab, click Print> OKto print the Row definition structurereport.

  12. Click General ledger> Reports> Transaction> Periodic> Financial statementto print the report.
