The counting list (INV-3) document is one of the primary documents used for inventory accounting. Actual data of available inventory holdings in the warehouses and other storage areas is reflected in this report.

  1. Click Inventory management> Setup> Parametersto open the Inventory parametersform.

  2. Click the Number sequencestab.

  3. In the Number sequence codefield, select the number sequence code for Counting list.

  4. Press CTRL+S or close the form.

  5. Click Inventory management> Setup> Journals> Journal names, Inventoryto open the Journal Names, Inventoryform.

  6. Press CTRL+N to create a new line, and enter the required details.

    For more information, see "Journal names, Inventory (form)" in the Applications and Business Processes Help.

  7. In the Journal typefield, select Counting.

  8. Click the Reportstab, and then click <<or <to move Counting list (INV-3)from the Available fieldto the Selectedfield.

    Note Note

    If the list of available reports is empty, click Updateto update the list of available reports.

  9. Press CTRL+S or close the form.
