1. Click General ledger> Common Forms> Fixed Asset Details.

  2. In the Fixed asset groupfield, select a fixed asset group and click Value modelsto open the Value modelsform.

  3. In the Value modelfield, select the value model to be used.

    Note Note

    You must create a value model in the Fixed asset group/value modelform with the posting layer set as Tax.

  4. Click Suspensionto open the Depreciation suspensionform.

  5. Click Create new suspensionto open the Create depreciation suspensionform.

  6. In the Suspension periodfield, enter the year of suspension and click OK.

    Note Note

    Select a year that is later than the year that the fixed asset was acquired.

  7. Click Cancel suspensionto open the Cancel depreciation suspensionform and cancel the depreciation suspension.
