You can use the Adjustmentform to adjust transactions posted to a project as a whole or in part. These adjusted transactions are accounted as reversing transactions in the general ledger and posted as correction transactions.

  1. Click Project> Setup> Parametersto open the Project parametersform.

  2. On the Generaltab, select the Adjustment of project transactions– correctioncheck box to specify that the adjustment transactions will be accounted as corrections in the general ledger.

  3. Press CTRL+S or close the form.

  4. Click Project> Common Forms> Project Detailsto open the Projectsform.

  5. Press CTRL+N to create a new project or select an existing project.

  6. Click Functions> Adjustmentto open the Adjustmentform.

    Note Note

    You can also adjust the project transactions using the Adjustmentform from Project> Periodic> Adjustment.


  7. Click Selectto open the Create adjustment transactionsform.

    Note Note

    For more information, see "Select transactions for adjustment (form)" in the Applications and Business Processes Help.


  8. Select the appropriate parameters, and click OK.

    Note Note

    To select a specific transaction or a specific range of transactions for adjustment, click Select.


  9. In the Adjustmentform, select the transactions to be adjusted.

  10. Click Adjustto open the Adjust transactionsform to adjust the selected transactions manually.

    Note Note

    The Adjustment of project transactions – correctioncheck box is automatically selected if you select the Adjustment of project transactions – correctioncheck box in the Project parametersform.


  11. Click OKto return to the Adjustmentform.

  12. Click Updateto update the values in the transaction line after the transaction line was adjusted.

  13. Click Postto post the adjusted line as a correction transaction.

  14. Press CTRL+S or close the form.
