Use this form to set up the financial report generator. The financial reports generator (FRG) allows you to generate reports using Microsoft Office Word and Microsoft Office Excel templates. The reports can include data for ledger transactions, budget transactions, and calculated tax registers.

Functions

  • Copy– Open the Financial reports generator parameters copyingform to copy a cell, all of its settings, and cell operations from any report for any company into the current report.

  • Create financial report lines– Open the Create or update FRG linesform to create or update the financial report.

Fields

Report code

Enter the report code.

Description

Enter a text description for the report.

Template

Select the document template.

Currency

Select the currency in which the report is created from the following options:

  • Base currency– All of the data in the report is presented in the company's default currency.

  • Secondary currency– All of the data in the report is presented in the company's secondary currency.

Period

Select the default voucher calculation period.

Data

Select the default data source for the report from the following options:

  • Transactions

  • Budget

  • Register

  • Constant

  • Function query

  • Contractor

  • Fixed requisite

Budget model

Select the default budget model number.

Note Note

This field is activated when you select Budgetin the Datafield.


Output to

Select the template type from the following options:

  • Microsoft Office Word

  • Microsoft Office Excel

File name

Select the template file path.

Note Note

Any user with rights to access the financial reports generator can generate a report and then save the template in a shared network folder. However, if the template is saved in the user's local folder, the report can only be generated from the user's workstation.


Factor

Enter the value that the report data is divided by.

Fractional part

Enter the number of decimal places entered into the report being generated.

Transaction usage

Select the type of transaction to be taken into account when creating the report from the following options:

  • All– View all transactions.

  • Only reversing entry– View reverse transactions.

  • Without reversing entry– Hide reverse transactions.

Transaction type

Select the required voucher type.

Note Note

The voucher type determines which module's transactions are used in generating the report.


Posting layer

Select the correct accounting type from the following options:

  • Current

  • Operations

  • Tax

  • Operations minus tax

  • Only operations

  • Only tax

  • Operations plus tax

  • Total

  • Dual warehouse

Dimension

Select the correct dimension type from the following options:

  • Department

  • Cost center

  • Purpose

From

Select the starting code for the dimension range, whose transactions should be included in the report.

To

Select the ending code for the dimension range, whose transactions should be included in the report.
