Before calculating the registers, you must enter all primary documents for the reporting period, perform the inventory closing function, and calculate the exchange adjustment. When you create a journal, all registers are initially empty. When you calculate the registers, data is called from other registers. In these instances, the source registers must be calculated first.

  1. Click General ledger> Journals> Tax register journal> Lines

    –or–

    Fixed assets> Common Forms> Tax register journal> Linesto open the Register journal linesform. Register journal lines are created with the status as Not calculated.

  2. Click Register calculation> Calculate currentto calculate the selected register.

    –or–

    Click Calculate allto calculate all journal registers.

  3. Click OKto confirm the calculation. After calculation, the status of the register is displayed as Calculatedin the Statusfield.

    To view the register lines after calculation, click Register linesto open the Register linesform.


  4. Select the Approvedcheck box to approve the register.

  5. In the Employeefield, view or modify the code of the employee who approved the register.

  6. Press CTRL+S or close the form.
