You can use the Setup payroll journalsform to set up journal names for payroll in order to categorize the registered vouchers. For instance, you can set up a journal to accrue bonuses by March 8 of each year, or to accrue the annual bonus for the company's top managers.

  1. Click Staff accounting> Calculation procedures> Payroll journal> Journal namesto open the Setup payroll journalsform.

  2. Press CTRL+N to create a new payroll journal.

  3. In the Namefield, enter a name for the payroll journal.

  4. In the Descriptionfield, enter a description of the payroll journal.

  5. On the Generaltab, select the Delete lines after postingcheck box to delete the lines after the journal is posted.

  6. In the Private for user groupfield, select the user group that the journal is restricted to.

  7. Press CTRL+S or close the form.
