You can use either daily or summarized record-keeping methods to generate time sheets. Daily record-keeping requires entering the hours worked every day, and summarized record-keeping requires entering the total number of hours worked over the calculation period. You can use this form to create or modify the total time record for a month.

Overview

Enter or view the pay type for the specific employee by including details such as the pay type, hours, days, amount, account type, and account fields.

View or modify the pay type details selected in the Overviewtab.

Posting Profile

View or modify the account and dimension details for the pay type selected in the Overviewtab.

Add lines

Open the Add recordform to add employee records to the time sheet, according to the specified criteria.

Delete journal lines

Open the Delete recordform to remove employee records from the time sheet, according to the specified criteria.

Select the employee's identification number.

Employee name

The employee's name.

Calendar

Select the employee's work schedule for the time sheet line.

Rate 1

Enter the rate 1 value for the time sheet line.

Rate 2

Enter the rate 2 value for the time sheet line.

Rate 3

Enter the rate 3 value for the time sheet line.

Job title

Select the position of the employee.

Payment period

Select or enter the month and year of the time sheet accrual period.

Group code

The group code of the time.

Description

The description for the time group.

Pay type

Select the pay type for the transaction.

Name

The name of the pay type for the transaction.

Hours

The number of hours worked by the employee.

Days

The number of days worked by the employee.

Time code

The time code for the time sheet line.

Amount

The amount for the specified pay type.

Department code

The code of the department where the employee worked on the accrual date of the time sheet.

Accrual date

The actual accrual date for the time sheet.

Calculation period

The month and year of the time sheet period.

Procedure code

The pay type amount resulting from the calculation.

Sequence

The pay type amount resulting from the calculation.

Counter

The pay type amount resulting from the counter calculation.

Account type

Select the account type for the pay type transaction from the following menu items:

  • Ledger

  • Customer

  • Vendor

  • Project

  • Fixed assets

  • Bank

  • FA number

  • Adv. holder

  • Deferrals

  • Petty cash

Account

Select the account for the transaction.

Department

The department dimension code for the transaction.

Cost Center

The cost center dimension code for the transaction.

Purpose

The purpose dimension code for the transaction.

Pay type

Select the pay type for the transaction.

Name

The name of the pay type for the transaction.
