Fields

Field

Description

Sequence

The number of the sequence that the counter is linked to.

Counter

Enter the unique counter code.

Name

Enter a description for the counter.

Pay type

Select the pay type that will be used to include the calculated counter value.

Criteria To

Select the conditions for calculating the current counter line, depending on the value of the counter that was calculated on the previous line.

Zero

Select this check box to specify whether the current counter value is set to zero.

Note Note

The value is set to zero if the conditions that are specified for the current counter value in the Criteria Tofield are satisfied.

Stop

Select this check box to specify whether the calculation of the current counter should be stopped.

Note Note

The counter calculation will be stopped if the conditions that are specified for the current counter value in the Criteria Tofield are satisfied.

Skip

Select this check box to specify whether the calculation should skip to the next line according to the serial number.

Note Note

The current calculation will be skipped if the conditions that are specified for the current counter value in the Criteria Tofield are satisfied.

Line type

Select the line type from the following options:

  • Counter

  • Pay type

  • Rate

  • Constant

  • Standard hours

  • Regular days

  • Calculation line

  • Previous experience (months)

  • Line total

  • Average earnings

  • Time sheet - Hours (group)

  • Time sheet - Days (group)

From

Select or enter the operand for the expression.

To

Select or enter the operand for the expression.

Period

Select the duration for the calculation from the following options:

  • No

  • Month

  • Quarter

  • Half-year

  • Years

  • Accumulated in total

Index

Enter the index of the period as 0 for current, 1 for next, and -1 for the previous period.

Specification

Select the method of adding values for each periods from the following:

  • Period only– A summation for the period defined in the Periodand Indexfields.

  • From period– A summation for the period from the start of the period, defined in the Periodand Indexfields, including the current calculation period.

  • From employment– A summation for the period from the date of hiring, including the current calculation period.

Line criteria

Select the condition that is put on the current line amount for using the operator.

Note Note

If the condition is not met, the operator will not be used, and the current counter value will not be changed.

Operator

Select the mathematical operators for the calculation sequence.

Note Note

If the operator is not specified, the value of the current line will be used as a parameter for the following next line.

Sequence number

View or enter the sequence number, which is a unique line number in the counter.

Next line

View or enter the sequence of action in the calculation method. This is the number of the line from which the counter calculation will continue.

Maximum

Enter the maximum value of the result per line.

Note Note

If this value is exceeded, the value is automatically reduced to the maximum value.

Minimum

Enter the minimum value of the result per line.

Note Note

If the value is less than this minimum, the value is automatically increased to the minimum value.

Rounding

Select the rounding method for each line as Up/Down, Down, or Up.

Precision

Enter the rounding precision for each line.
