Microsoft Outlook Object Library overview

The Microsoft Outlook Object Library contains objects, methods, and properties that model the functionality of Outlook. This introduction to the Microsoft Outlook Object Library does not describe every object. Instead, it focuses on the following objects:

• MAPIFolder object
• MailItem object
• Attachment object
• Recipient object
• ContactItem object

To use the Microsoft Outlook Object Library, first create an Application object with a sanScript function. For more information on creating COM objects with sanScript functions, refer to The following illustration displays the relationships between the objects that are discussed.
