Field Descriptions window

Use the Field Descriptions window to find out which tables contain a particular field. You can also use this window to display the Additional Field Information window, which provides more information about specific characteristics of the selected field. These additional characteristics are useful when using tools such as the Report Writer or Modifier.

To display this window

In Microsoft Dynamics GP, point to Resource Descriptions in the Tools menu and choose Fields.

In the Report Writer, Modifier, or Dexterity, choose Field Descriptions from the File menu.
