Search priority for sales prices
Sales prices are set up for categories, employees, projects, transaction dates, and currencies. The search priority for sales prices is displayed in the following table. When a sales price is looked up, the price selected is always the price that matches the greatest number of details. Search matches have a priority from 1 to 8 in the table. Currency is the strongest criterion. When prices with the correct currency have been found, the search continues for project, then employee, then category to find the most detailed match. The last criterion to be searched for is the transaction date.
