Item dimensions are not activated by default when Microsoft Dynamics AX is installed. They must be enabled with the configuration keys.

1. Activate the Item dimension - Color, and Item dimension - Sizeconfiguration keys in the logistics area to make the item dimensions available throughout Microsoft Dynamics AX.

2. After you enable the configuration keys, the inventory dimension groups and item dimensions must be defined in the Dimension groups form.
